Easter Sunday Open Mic at Martuni's

What do San Franciscans do on Easter Sunday?  Sing, sing, sing!  What a night!  The amazing Ben Prince rocks the piano on Sunday nights! We had some serious talent in the room: Jennifer, Chris, Sean, Jason, Jesse and his talented man Danny, Courtney, Charles, Mary Anne and even Katia stayed and blew us all away after her monthly Sunday show (that I plan to see in May)!  The cast of Anything Goes was also there!  What a fun night!  I sang a new song from If/Then "What the F*&k" - sometimes, you have to sing that song.  I also sang two songs that I'll perform at my May 13 "Love Changes Everything" show at Society Cabaret.  I hope you can come!

Good Friday Open Mic at Martuni's

What a fun night!  It's always great seeing and listening to so many great singers here with Ben Prince rockin' the keys!  Austin, Charles, Jesse, Nikki, Richard and newcomer Jose along with everyone else sounded really great!  I had fun singing several new songs that I'll perform at my May 13 show at Society Cabaret as well as a few from my last show at Martuni's.  Fun times!

Tuesday Open Mic with Alan and Dina at Martuni's!

I had a fabulous time at Alan Choy and Dina M. Rao's weekly, Tuesday open mic at Martuni's.  The energy, love and talent was incredible!  There were so many new faces and so many spectacular voices!  I had a great time meeting new friends and singing a combination of show tunes and power ballads.  Come check it out some time soon!

A fun Thursday Night Open Mic at Martuni's

Had a great time here with Joe Wicht on piano.  It felt like a Friday night crowd so I sang a lot of pop songs by Whitney, Idina and an oldie from years and years ago by Olivia Newton-John.  Fun night!

Sunday Open Mic at Martuni's is Always Fun!

I love sneaking in here on Sunday's at 9 pm to sing songs when Ben Prince is playing piano.  It's always fun meeting new friends like Matthew, Chris, Alejandro, Susie from New Zealand, Nicole and many more!  I tried out some new songs that I'm working on along with some favorites I will always love singing.  If you've never been to Martuni's on a Sunday night, come on out and bring some music.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to sing their hearts out.

Happy St Patrick's Day - Singing New Songs at Martuni's Open Mic

My friend and I met here to enjoy the fabulous Joe Wicht on piano!  I broke out a lot of new songs that I'll perform at my upcoming May 13th debut show at Society Cabaret (tickets are on sale today :-)  I sang a total of 6 songs, including songs from Wicked, Pippin, The Baker's Wife, Aspects of Love and two Whitney Houston power ballads.  I loved meeting new friends Tom, Phuong, Lee, Amie and Corrie as well as seeing regulars like Courtney.  My friend had a great time and was so happy that Joe played a few of her favorites songs for her :-)  All in all, another great night at Martuni's.

Full Length Live Video "One Moment in Time" - my tribute to the great Whitney Houston

I have loved "One Moment in Time" since I first heard it when it came out in the late 1980's.  It is such a gorgeous song about hope, perseverance, dedication, hard work and believing yourself to achieve your goals.  It brings me pure joy to sing it from my heart.  I hope you enjoy it and share it with your friends and provide them with an uplifting 5 minute music video break :-)
