My "Live - One Moment in Time" CD is available for digital download!

I have always wanted to record a live CD at my favorite piano bar in San Francisco - Martuni's! I am grateful to Skip Zioborn for letting me record it at my February 18th show!  I had the chance to work with so many incredibly talented people on this CD - David Aaron Brown on piano, Heikki Gruner on live sound recording and Steve Goodie on mixing and mastering!  I included 8 of the 13 songs from my show on this CD.  It includes songs from stage and screen made famous by Idina Menzel, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Bernadette Peters and Sarah Brightman.  I hope you enjoy it!  As an artist, I receive the most money if you download it from CD Baby. Thank you for your support!  I hope you enjoy it :-)

SOLD OUT February 18th Show at Martuni's!

What a great night!  David Aaron Brown was outstanding on the piano!  Vlad was awesome on video! Susan did a fabulous job taking care of the audience and Jordan was incredible as the dashing doorman greeting every guest with a dazzling smile!  I had so much fun!  We had an 80 minute set which included plenty of banter, audience interaction along with trivia, a handsome male volunteer who did a great job while I sang a song to him in the spotlight as well as a super fun audience song-a-along to a classic Olivia song from Grease.  Kudos to the audience for doing such a great job!

Set list:

Love Changes Everything, Then You Look At Me, Someone To Watch Over Me, You Learn to Live Without, Always Starting Over, I've Got A Crush on You, God Bless the Child, Maybe This Time, Unexpected Song, It's All Coming Back to Me Now, Hopelessly Devoted To You, One Moment in Time and Let It Go as the encore.

Fun Friday Singing and Listening to Cabaret Singers at Curtain Call

I had a nice time singing a song from the Broadway musical It/Then (Always Starting Over) with the amazing Barry Lloyd on piano and Bill Cooper as MC.  There were several very talented and engaging singers there including Crystal Miller - this lady has an incredibly beautiful voice!  Wow! I am looking forward to her March 25th show in the East Bay!  Let me know if you want to join me for what is sure to be an amazing show!

Welcoming 2017 with wonderful singers and friends

I had a fabulous time singing a Whitney Houston song this evening.  Barry Lloyd is incredible on the piano and Bill Cooper's comedic MC role made this a truly fun evening.  There were so many wonderful singes including Maria, Ben, Eileen and her husband,  and June!  I'm already looking forward to February's curtain call!  Come join us and sing or dine/drink and enjoy a great night of music.

My new live singles are available on iTunes!

I'm so excited!  My new lives singles, recorded during a show at The Plush Room, are now available for sale on iTunes and lots of other sites!  I hope you enjoy "An Ordinary Day" and the Celine Dion powerhouse "Then You Look At Me."  Thanks for supporting live music everywhere!

Jazz open mike in Menlo Park, California

When you're working at a clean tech start-up and your holiday party is at a restaurant with a weekly jazz open mic, well, you know what I did.  My boss challenged me to get up and sing some songs so I sang a jazzy and big version of the Billie Holiday classic "God Bless the Child" along with a few pop power ballads (of course)!

In the Press: January 2007 edition of "The Northside"

Hi folks, Well, I'm excited to share the latest news with you. There's a feature article about me (along with a color photo!) in the January 2007 edition of The Northside, a local paper serving all of the northern neighborhoods in San Francisco, including Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, the Marina and Presidio Heights. What a great way to kick-off 2007! I'm also featured in another paper this month: The India Abroad Weekly which will hit stands in North America next week. I hope you are able to pick up a copy of one of these papers and, more importantly, I hope you can come to my next show here in the City on Saturday, February 17th at Martuni's Lounge (my favorite place to sing and drink really excellent martini's). More details about that show are in the calendar section. Thank you very much for your continued support!! Take care, Vandana
