I had a fabulous time singing a Whitney Houston song this evening. Barry Lloyd is incredible on the piano and Bill Coooper's comedic MC role made this a truly fun evening. There were so many wonderful singes including Maria, Ben, Eileen and her husband, and June! I'm already looking forward to February's curtain call! Come join us and sing or dine/drink and enjoy a great night of music.
I had to ask myself how I have missed Monday at Martuni's? Since shows are dark on Monday's, fantastic singers from theatre and opera swing by and sing, sing, sing! The energy was amazing! I enjoyed singing an Idina Menzel song followed later in the evening by a signature Whitney Houston song. I'm looking forward to more fun Monday's at Martuni's. Come on out and sing with all of us!
It was so much fun at Martuni's tonight! Turns out, Saturday December 17, 2016 was their busiest night in their twenty year history! The energy and fun was fabulous and there was so much Christmas cheer! I loved trying out three new songs and three old torch songs from stage and screen with pianist Ben Prince. Wow! This guy is incredible on the piano!
I am so excited to bring an all-new show of pop, classic standards and Broadway songs to my favorite piano lounge in San Francisco, Martuni's! I'm putting the show together as I write and have a wealth of material from which to choose 10 - 12 songs.
How much fun is it to come in here and sing to a packed house of piano bar enthusiasts? Really fun! Joseph always rocks the keys and make me sound great! I had fun singing a favorite show tune, "Unexpected Song" along with "Let it Go", a duet with Joseph "Suddenly Seymour" and, of course, Abba's "Dancing Queen"
I had fun singing half a dozen songs throughout the night (some old, some new and some unexpected tunes).
Show tunes, show tunes, show tunes! I sang some Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Schwartz and Stephen Sondheim songs tonight. Everyone was into show tunes! What a fun night!
What a great place for a first date! He wanted to hear me sing and so I had to "Let it Go' and am thankful for the random lady seated at the piano for using my iPhone to record my first Youtube video.
I had fun introducing a new friend to Martuni's piano lounge and enjoyed singing several big, brassy show tunes.
I enjoyed meeting a bunch of talented professional Broadway singers visiting from NYC and also had fun singing a bunch of pop standards and some big Broadway songs, of course!
